Fall 2022

Those Who Enable Music

The work of creative and recreative musicians alike answers the call of art for art’s sake. There is an inner drive that impels musicians to fashion beauty out of sound. Yet, collaboration, sponsorship, insistence, and necessity often underpin musical inspiration. In our class, we will collectively explore the stories of a variety of collaborations from the world of classical music and music making.

Offered simultaneously through in-person and online sessions. No prior experience with music is required.
